Paris, here we come!

Het is bijna zover. Mijn grote nieuwe koffer met vier wielen staat gepakt in de gang. Mijn leukste kleren, gebreide kanten shawls (de MondNacht!) en andere breisels, veel breispullen, campy Hollandse spullen om het Dutch Knitting Cafe aan te kleden, t’shirts met ons breimeisje, documentatie over Père-Lachaise en de Friday Night Knit Club die ik speciaal bewaard had voor de reis. Op het laatste moment stond de postbode voor de deur met 500 visitekaartjes. Alles zit er in en hij kan nog dicht.
De organisatie van de beurs heeft ons pontificaal op de site gezet met een oproep aan de Parijse breisters om vooral even bij ons langs te komen en gezellig mee te breien. Ondanks dat we al met een grote groep zijn (zeven tot tien breiers op vrijdag en zaterdag!), hopen we op veel aanloop. Ben jij in Parijs van 6 tm 9 maart? Dan kom je toch ook wel even langs…… je vindt ons op het podium B39.

The moment of departure is almost there. My big new suitcase on four wheels is packed and waiting in the hallway. My nicest clothes, knitted lace shawls (the MondNacht!) and other knittings, lots of knit stuff, campy Dutch junk to decorate the Dutch Knitting Cafe, t’shirts with our knitting girl, documentation on Père-Lachaise and the Friday Night Knit Club that I saved for the trip. At the last moment the postman delivered 500 business cards. It is all in and the suitcase can still be closed.
The organization of the fair made an article about us for their web site and asks the Parisian knitters to visit us and knit along. Despite that we are with a large group (seven to ten on Thursday and Saterday!), we hope to meet a lot of knitters. Are you in Paris from 6 till 9 March? Then of course you too come to meet us…… you can find us on the stage B39.
