Op 16 mei is het faillissement uitgesproken over Bureau Den Beek en daarmee kwam een eind aan Handwerken zonder Grenzen, het enige handwerkblad van niveau in Nederland. Triest, zoveel lezers hadden het zo graag anders gezien……. Vooral als je net een nieuw abonnement had afgesloten, of zoals ik, met veel plezier ontwerper van breisels en schrijver was voor het blad. Helaas wordt dan ‘Handwerken zonder Grenzen’ ‘Handwerken zonder Betalen’ voor de laatste twee artikelen die ik schreef voor blad nummer 140.
Mogelijk wordt het blad overgenomen door een andere uitgever, maar anders was nummer 140 het laatste nummer.
Ook zijn er al acties via het internet om het blad te behouden. Herma van het blog Kantsteek en Co is ‘actie en reactie’ gestart, hopen dat het helpt!
On May 16th Bureau Den Beek went officially brook and ended the publication of Handwerken zonder Grenzen (translated as Crafts without Borders), the only craftsmagazine of standing in the Netherlands. Sad, so many readers would have loved to keep the issues coming……. Especially when you recently ordered a subscription, or like me, with pleasure were a designer of knitwear and author for the magazine. Unfortunately for me ‘Crafts without Borders’ will be ‘Crafts without Payment’ for the last two articles I wrote for magazine number 140.
Maybe the magazine will be continued by another publisher, but if not, then number 140 was the last issue.
On the internet some try to keep the magazine alive. Herma from the blog Kantsteek en Co started ‘actie en reactie’, hopefully that will help!
