Loire France 2011
Langs de romantische rivier de Loire in Frankrijk vieren ze rond deze tijd de oogstfeesten. Dat houdt hoofdzakelijk in dat er in de dorpen aan lange tafels bewoners en wat verdwaalde toeristen samen eten en je overal wijn mag proeven. Of ze rijden Bachus met wat kindjes en een vaas met wijn rond, gevolgd door de leden van het wijngilde. Als je geluk hebt, ben je net als ons dan toevallig daar op vakantie, als je heel veel geluk hebt, mag je een slokje met ‘m meedrinken. Veel op breigebied was er helaas niet, maar de ontmoeting met de gezellige goedlachse en enigszins teute Bachus maakte veel goed.
Along the romantic river the Loire in France now it is the time they celebrate the harvest. That means that in the villages the inhabitants and some tourists eat together on long tables and you can tast wine everywhere. Or the put Bachus on a cart with some kids and a vase with wine and drive him throught the town, followed by the member of the wine guild. If you are lucky you are there when on holiday like us, if you are very lucky, he will share a zip with you. We didn’t find much knit related stuff there, but meeting a bit drunk Bachus with his big smile made up for all of that.
