Brei- en Haakfestival De Schapekop
Op vrijdag 29 en zaterdag 30 mei organiseert De Schapekop in Nieuwpoort (vlakbij zilverstad Schoonhoven) het Brei- en Haakfestival. Twee dagen lang wordt het mooie historische stadje omgetoverd tot handwerkparadijs. Er zijn workshops te doen, waaronder twee van mijn collega Hannek Bezem, en ik ben er van 13.00 tot 16.00 uur om mijn boek Lekker Warm! te signeren. Natuurlijk neem ik een aantal ontwerpen uit het boek mee en laat ik je zien wat de essentie is van twijnend breien. Je mag het zelf ook even proberen op één van de oefenwerkjes die ik meeneem. On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May De Schapekop in Newport (near silver city Schoonhoven) organizes the Knitting and Crochet Festival. For two days, the beautiful historic town will be turned into handicraft paradise. There will be workshops, including two of my colleagues Hannek Bezem, and I’m present from 13.00 to 16.00 h. for signing my book So Warm!. Of course I will bring some of the designs from the book, and I’ll show you the essence of twined knitting. You can also try yourself on one of the practice workswhich I take. See you later!
