Life 'n Knitting

Als je ergens enthousiast over bent, wil je er graag over vertellen. Ik greep dus de kans toen ik hoorde dat ik een artikel over de Nederlandse breigeschiedenis mochten schrijven voor The Knitter. Dit Engelse tijdschrift heeft, naast een aantal patronen ook altijd een paar artikelen over breitradities en technieken. Ik ben er best een beetje trots op dat ik maar liefst vier pagina’s mochten vullen met tekst en foto’s. En het tweede artikel, daar ben ik al over aan het nadenken…

When you are enthusiastic about something, you want to tell everyone about it. I grabbed the opportunity when I heard that I could write an article about Dutch knitting history for The Knitter. This English magazine has, besides a number of patterns, always a few stories about knitting traditions and techniques. I must admit that I am quite proud that I was allowed to fill no less than four pages with text and photos. And the second article, I am already giving it a lot of thought….
