Diverse WIPs (Work in Progress) werden dus maar even omgezet in FPs (Finished Projects).

The Easter week end was quiet so lot’s of time to knit. So several WIPs (Work in Progress) became FPs (Finished Projects).

Last week de kniertjes for sister in law Henriëtte needed to be finished as she had had birthday and it was my gift for her. To my relief she loved them and they fitted fine. It is such a nice feeling to be able to make such personal gifts as a knitter.

The Suri-shawl knitted fast so it is already finished too. It is almost a pity, it was so nice to knit it. Anti liked it even before the blocking as a cat blanket.
The  Kiri-patroon is so much better that the Birch of Rowan (designer Sharon Miller). As you start it in the back of the neck you are always sure you have enough yarn to finish the project and the model is better formed which makes it more beautifil and nicer to wear. And it is so warm, fluffy and soft!

The Hundertwasser-socks only needed a nose. I was in doubt, but decided to try out the French Toe from Nancy Bush‘s book Vintage Socks, even though I thought it to be weird that it existed from three parts. But to my surprise it looks wonderful and is even rounder and better fitting than the flat nose we knit in the Netherlands most of the time. It wears very well. Husband Jan thinks the socks are too colorful, he prefers brown and dark blue, but I think they are lovely colored. Real Easter socks?

Not yet finished but knitted in high tempo, is the Wimple from Knitting in America.
