Breien en treinen……. een goeie combi!
Marita en ik breien tijdens de Internationale KIP-dag zaterdag 13 juni in het Spoorwegmuseum in Utrecht. Doe je mee? Kom dan met de trein naar Utrecht, stap op het Centraal Station over in de antieke museumtrein en tuf al breiend naar het Spoorwegmuseum! Daar is veel te zien en te beleven en er zijn leuke plekken om lekker te gaan zitten breien. Met mooi weer kunnen we buiten zitten, met slecht weer binnen in het restaurant in de grote hal of in groepjes in oude treincoupé’s.
De Museumtrein vertrekt om 10.32 en 11.32 vanaf het Centraal Station en kost 2 euro voor een enkeltje. Of kijk in de dienstregeling. Het museum kost 14,50 euro entree – museumkaarthouders zijn gratis. Het museum is open van 10.00 tot 17.00 uur. Marita en ik pakken de museumtrein vanaf het Centraal Station om 10.32 uur.

Op Life ’n Knitting vind je een fotoverslag van de KIP-dag 2008 – de Rondbreivaart door de Amsterdamse grachten. Als het nét zo leuk wordt als verleden jaar, gaan we een gewéldige breidag tegemoet! Knitting and trains………a perfect combination!
Marita and I will be knitting during the Internationale KIP-dag on Saturday 13th of June in the Spoorwegmuseum in Utrecht. Are you coming too? The take the train to Utrecht, change to the special shuttle train at Utrecht Central Station and while you are knitting you slowly pull into the Spoorwegmuseum! There are lots of things to see and experience and there are some very nice spots to sit down and do some knitting. Weather permitting we can sit outside, and if not, we’ll gather inside in the restaurant in the big hall or in smaller groups in one of the old train compartments….
The shuttle train leaves the Central Station at 10.32 and 11.32 and the fee is 2 euros for a single ticket. Or check the timetable. The entrance fee for the museum is 14.50 euros – museum cardholders have free entrance. The museum is open from 10.00 till 17.00 h. Marita and I will catch the 10.32 shuttle train from Utrecht Central Station.Travel and knit along!
