Zonder haar was het nooit iets geworden. Onze lieve breivriendin Monika hielp ons met raad en daad om van ons boek Warme Handen, Estlandse Wanten en Polswarmers tot een succes te maken. Het hoogtepunt van onze reis naar Tallinn Estland was dan ook het aanbieden van Warme Handen aan Monika. Tijdens een gezellig etentje en in het bijzijn van zus Merike gaven we haar ons kindje in handen. Nou, haar koppie zegt genoeg hè, een blije blik, vooral toen ze ontdekte dat het boek aan haar is opgedragen. Dank je wel Monika.
Had je de vertaling gekregen? It would have been nothing without her. Our dear knitting friend Monika advised and assisted us in order to make our book Warme Handen, Estonian Mittens and Wrist Warmers a big success. Therefore the highlight of our trip to Tallinn, Estonia was offering Monika Warm Hands. During a very enjoyable diner and in the company of her sister Merike we gave her our child. Well, her face says enough, doesn’t it? A happy face, especially when she discovered that the book is dedicated to her. Thanks Monika.

Oh, my 🙂 I am very proud of you two! You did the hard work, I only helped a little.
Thank you for putting me in your book, I feel proud beeing there along with all the warm and lovely mittens 🙂
I already have new ideas for our next year trip and I believe the next books you will write will be even more sucsess than the first one 🙂
