Het was een verrassing, want we hadden iets kneuterigs verwacht, maar niets was minder waar. Het mooie Fashion Museum in het hart van Riga, om de hoek bij onze appartementen is keurig verzorgd, heeft een gevarieerde collectie en er is veel te doen voor de bezoekers. Op het moment dat wij (Titia, Sindy, Ingrid, Jenny en ik) er waren, was er een tentoonstelling over Chinese kleding en textiel. Prachtig borduurwerk, sensationele lange kimono-achtige jassen en veel accessoires. We pasten de kleding, ontvingen onze toekomstverwachting en genoten van een lekkere koffie met gebakje voor we weer verder gingen met het verkennen van de stad.
When we visited the Fashion Museum in the heart of Riga, we had not expected something very sophisticated, but nothing was farther from the truth. The museum, around the corner of our apartments, looks so good, has a varied collection and there is a lot to do for visitors. When we (Titia, Sindy, Ingrid, Jenny and I) visited the museum, there was an exhibition about Chinese clothes and textiles. Beautiful embroidery, sensational long kimono-like jackets and many accessories. We tried on the clothes, received a description of what the future holds for us and had some delicious coffee with sweets before continuing our walk into the city.
