De koffer staat gepakt. Traditiegetrouw heb ik eerst mijn breiwerken opgezocht en erin gestopt en toen pas mijn kleding. Het belangrijkste eerst. Een paar Estlandse shawls gaan mee, wat voorbeelden Twijnend Breien en drie projecten met verschillende moeilijkheidsgraden op de pennen. Morgen in het begin van de middag zijn we er al. ‘s Avonds zullen we onze lieve vriendin Monika voor het eerst ontmoeten en samen eten. Dan gaat Het Grote Estlandse Breifeest beginnen.
The suitcase is packed. True to tradition I first packed my knitting and then my clothes. First things first. |I wil bring a few Estonian shawls, some examples of Twined Knitting and three projects, some more or less difficult and of course a nobrainer. Tomorrow in the early afternoon we will be there. In the evening we will meet our dear friend Monika for the first time and eat together. Then the Big Estonian Knitting Party will start.
Tot en met zondag is het Old Town Festival in Tallinn. De binnenstad zal dus wel gezellig en levendig zijn. Ik verheug me op de middeleeuwse cultuur en musea, de winkeltjes, de kraampjes met breigoed en het echte Estlandse eten.
Until Sunday there is the Old Town Festival in Tallinn. The center of town will probably be cosy and lively. I’m looking forward to be this town straigt from the middle ages, the musea, the shops, the stands with knitwear and the real Estonian food.
En ondertussen past mijn man Jan van wie ik zoveel houd, op het huis, haard en op Coquette, onze oude Siamese divapoes. Onze lieve Anti is helaas op 4 juni overleden.

And in the meanwhile my dear husband Jan, who I love dearly, will take care of the home and of Coquette, our old Siamese cat that pretends to be a diva. Sadly our beloved cat Anti past away on 4 June.
